Atlas’ office in Stavanger is just one of the specialist offices that focuses on the drilling and well services market in Europe. For the last 3 years this team have established themselves as a specialist recruiter in the provision of Norwegian oil and gas personnel worldwide.
Connected with the Norwegian Market
On 1st December, Sushil Hovstad Sitaula took on the role as Business Manager. Since 1998, Sushil has worked in the oil & gas sector and is well connected with companies such as, FinnPersonal, Norwegian Petroleum Consultants and Dovre Group. Atlas talks to the new Business Manager about joining the company and his goals for the New Year.
An understanding of the market
“Over the years I have had great opportunities to watch companies go through different life cycles and see their projects evolve. This has helped me sense and understand the opportunities and demand especially within the Norwegian market.
Atlas has the knowledge and the capacity, processes and the people to win more of the market share in Norway. We will utilise and exploit more of this to create opportunities for ourselves.”
Creating synergy for the business
As the industry has been particularly hard on the Norwegian market, Sushil explains how he plans to progress. “Oil & gas will remain the main market for us to follow, we will also be looking into opportunities within the Marine, Transmission and Construction markets to create synergy for our business line.
We are a small but proactive team and I am positive for the coming year. I am grateful and humble to be a part of the Atlas Professionals team in Norway and to be given the responsibility of leading them. My goal is to exploit every opportunity within the Norwegian market and to make sure that our presence and our excellent customer services are known to local personnel.”
