Looking at 2016 we knew that we had a challenge ahead of us. With oil prices adamant to stay at an all-time low, the industry put on its survival suit to recover from the downturn and salvage the best opportunities from the wreckage.

Our natural instinct was not only to adapt to the market but to ensure that we added value to our business by strengthening relationships with our clients. By listening to our clients we have established the needs of the market, and have created multiple solutions across the energy, marine and renewable sectors. Solutions such as our online planning tool Atlas4Clients. This platform allows us to go further in-depth with our cooperation with our clients and ensures a more streamlined recruitment process. With this platform already implemented with clients, we hope that this will add greater value to our future collaborations. Atlas4Clients is just one of the many results that Atlas has achieved this year. We don’t close our eyes to the challenges that we face, we come together as an industry for the people we represent.
Offering the full scope in oil, gas and renewables
Over the course of the year, our teams’ across the globe have worked hard to secure contracts and exclusive supplier statuses with major companies in the oil & gas and renewables industries. With major contracts and frame agreements secured in Energy, Marine & Renewables we are proud that we have been able to extend our long-lasting relationships with our current clients and expand the knowledge of our operational teams. Through their hard work Atlas can provide the complete personnel service solution within Offshore Wind, Oil & Gas Upstream and Downstream. I would like to thank all clients that have worked with us throughout the year, especially during the difficult economic circumstances.
The chance to evolve
Through these successes we have met market demands. With the need for competency and training, in the Netherlands Atlas’ Engineering & Project Controls team developed an E-Technology & Automation Traineeship to give young technical professionals the opportunity to evolve and gain some first-hand experience with our clients. Our renewables team in the UK have also been reaching out to local communities with our Atlas Professionals recruitment days, giving personnel the opportunity to join worldwide projects right on their doorstep. These recruitment days have also given Atlas the opportunity to discuss the market conditions with local content and governmental representatives. Taking steps like this is important now more than ever as we endeavour to do things differently and obtain the best results for our professionals and clients.
